The Friendly App ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This app helps users discover movies on streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime Video based on their preferences.

 

We collect the following information:

• Name and email (for account creation)

• Movie preferences and saved movie choices

• App usage data (such as likes, skips, and swipes)

• Optional profile photo

• Crash reports and app performance data

• Device identifiers (such as Apple’s Advertising Identifier) used for delivering and measuring ads when you allow tracking

 

This data is used to:

• Personalise your movie recommendations

• Improve app performance and features

• Allow login, saving preferences, and restoring your account

• Support optional in-app purchases and ads

• We use Google AdMob to show ads in the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage information to deliver, personalise (if allowed), and measure ads. You will be asked whether you allow tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. Ads will still work even if you choose not to allow tracking.

 

We use Firebase and other tools for authentication, storage, and analytics. We do not sell your data.
